The 2007
Lamborghini Gallardo Nera is a special edition of Lamborghini's
2007 Gallardo coupe and was released at the Paris Motor Show.
Lamborghini prepared the Nera or 'Black' edition to showcase
what their new personalization program can do. The special edition
was initialy known as the Gallardo Privilegio, but "Nera"
is a more apropriate name for the black version of the Gallardo.
The Gallardo
Nera features the same 5.0-liter, 512-hp V10 engine which comes
with a choice of 6-speed manual or E-gear auto/manual clutchless
shifter. The Nera will be available in two base colors: "Black
Serapis" and "Black Noctis" black all over. Matte
black covers the side mirrors, rear spoiler, rear body panels,
roof, selected front panels, and on the door sills and rear
apron. Matte black rims in the "Callisto" design with
the Lamborghini logo, brake calipers in silver, white side indicator
lenses, and darkened tail lights add to the black look.
The 2007
Nera interior has, in place of standard leather seats, upgraded
it to Alcantara leather which is also included in the door and
instrument accents and headliner. The Gallardo Nera also includes
a navigation system, rear view camera, alarm system, lifting
system, and a tailored vehicle cover.
